Der Baggersee "Haager Weiher" liegt ruhig und ist von schöner Natur umgeben. Gute Bademöglichkeiten, Spazierwege, barrierearme Zugänge und eine gute Erreichbarkeit machen ihn zu einem idealen Ort für Erholung, kurze Ausflüge und eine kleine Auszeit. 

Der Haager Weiher liegt wunderschön mitten im Ampertal und präsentiert sich als vielseitiger Naherholungsort in der Region Freising. Besucher finden dort eine ruhige Seenlandschaft mit schattigen Bäumen und Plätzen zum Verweilen am Wasser. Der Baggersee eignet sich gut zum Baden, für Spaziergänge, gemütliche Picknicks und eine kleine Auszeit inmitten einer ländlich-kulturellen Umgebung.

Die weiträumige Liegefläche mit rund 1,8 Hektar und die Wasserfläche mit rund 5 Hektar laden Groß und Klein zum Baden und Erholen ein. Zukünftig soll der "Haager Weiher" noch weiter vergrößert und zu einem überörtlich bedeutsamen Landschafts- und Badesee ausgebaut werden.

Anreise und Lage erfolgen bequem mit dem Auto; Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Auch führt ein Radweg unmittelbar am Weiher vorbei. Der Bereich ist größtenteils barrierearm. Für Mobilitätseingeschränkte gibt es zugängliche Wege rund um das Gewässer. In der Nähe bieten sich weitere Highlights wie Gastronomieangebote, ein Biergarten oder kurze Wanderwege im Umland an.

Hinweis zum Stand-Up-Paddling (SUP):
Am Haager Weiher ist das Stand-Up-Paddling (SUP) erlaubt. Eine Beeinträchtigung der Erholungssuchenden darf durch das Nutzen des SUP nicht gegeben sein. Daher wird um eine achtsame und rücksichtsvolle Benutzung gebeten, um die Sicherheit der Badegäste nicht zu gefährden.
