Ausgangspunkt ist der Dorfplatz von Bildein mit seiner ausgezeichneten touristischen Infrastruktur (Gasthaus, Weinarchiv, Geschäft, Toilette). Über eine Anzahl von eindrucksvollen Stationen (Labyrinth, Bunker aus dem 2. Weltkrieg, Schützengraben, Grenzbrücke, Grenzwachturm, Spiel ohne Grenzen, Schwimmende Brücke…) wandern Sie zur österreichisch-ungarischen Grenze, überqueren dort die Pinka und spazieren am gegenüberliegenden Flussufer wieder zurück. Alle Stationen sind so gestaltet, dass sie für Kinder und Erwachsene interessant und anregend sind. Sie sollen ganz bewusst auch zum generationenübergreifenden Gespräch animieren. Sie durchwandern eine abwechslungsreiche Landschaft, mit ausreichend Rastplätzen, sowie kleineren Einzelstationen mit Bild-Texttafeln.
