Miner's town Mursko Središće

Mursko Središće, the northernmost town of Croatia, is also referred to as the „Miner's Town“, which acknowledges the importance of mining in its past. The tourist complex Cimper preserves the memory of the mining era as a sign of gratitude to miners and their hard work. Visit the Promenade along the Mura river. It's a perfect place for resting in one of the lounges or you can freshen up drinking spring water at the Zvirek spring. Discover the rich mining history of the city throughout Mura Miner's trail, the 12.5 km long path. Along the trail there are 10 information boards and each covers one topic: the history of the city, mining history, the importance of the Mura river, tourist facilities.
