Zrúcaniny hradu Šomoška z netradičného materiálu pri obci Šiatorská Bukovinka patria k slovenským unikátom, vrátane kamenného vodopádu a kamenného mora v jeho okolí. Zaručene sa budú páčiť návštevníkom všetkých vekových kategórií a počas celého roka.
Blízko hraničnej obce Šiatorská Bukovinka, na kužeľovitom čadičovom brale v Cerovej vrchovine sa vyníma zrúcanina gotického hradu Šomoška. Netradičnú stavbu z konca 13. alebo začiatku 14. storočia (po vpáde Tatárov) postavili zo šesťbokých čadičových stĺpov. Jeho stavitelia to mali vcelku ľahké, veď materiál ťažili priamo v hradnom kopci.

Slovenský unikát si môžete pozrieť zblízka, keď sa vydáte po zelenej turistickej značke. Čaká vás stredne náročná prechádzka s miernym stúpaním na konci trasy, ktorá trvá asi 40 minút. Parkovisko sa nachádza pri Šimonovej veži. Okolím hradu vás prevedie Náučný chodník Šomoška s 8 informačnými tabuľami.
