Prírodná pamiatka Mučínska jaskyňa je asi 2 km od obce Mučín vzdialená jaskyňa, unikátna svojím vznikom. Podzemný priestor s dĺžkou 12 m kopíruje 19 miliónov rokov starý zuhoľnatený strom. Podzemná chodba sa rozširovala aj opadávaním horniny zo stropu. Pôvodný, pravdepodobne ihličnatý strom vyvalil horúci sopečný oblak, šíriaci sa v podobe lavíny z neďalekého vulkánu.
V jaskyni sú aj dnes badateľné zuhoľnatené zvyšky konárov a odtlačky listov bršlenov, motýľokvetých a myrtovitých rastlín. Prírodná pamiatka je verejnosti voľne prístupná na vlastnú zodpovednosť.
