Zamárdiban a Bácskai utcai a leghosszabb szabadstrand a településen, így nem meglepő, hogy sokan járnak le úszni, játszani vagy csak sütkérezni. A partra éppen ezért rengeteg programot szerveznek, közülük a legismertebb a Balaton Sound, ami Európa egyik legnagyobb elektronikus zenei fesztiválja.
Innen indítják a helyi tűzijátékot augusztus 20-án, rendszeresen rendeznek ide utcabálokat, és az itt megrendezett Balatoni Játszadalom rengeteg családi- és gyermekprogramot kínál az idelátogatóknak. A főszezonban általában működik a játszóház is, ha esetleg a rossz idő miatt a játszótér nem jön számításba.
A part mellett végig van ingyenes parkolási lehetőség, valamint a strandon található WC és öltöző is. A strand 2019-ben is elnyerte a “Kék Hullám Zászló” négycsillagos fokozatát.

Public transport
- Ha vonattal érkezünk, Zamárdi állomáson szálljunk le.
- Ha a kaposvár vagy Siófok felől közlekedő busszal érkezünk, a Zamárdi, kapcsolóház megállónál szálljunk le.
- Egyéb helyközi buszokról a Zamárdi, vasúti megállóhely megállónál kell leszállni.

Directions
- Ha vonattal vagy távolsági busszal érkeztünk, az állomástól induljunk el a Balaton irányába a Szent István utcán. A kanyar után jobbra a 2. utca lesz a Bácskai, amire bekanyarodva eljutunk a stand bejáratáig (1 km).
- A Zamárdi, kapcsolóház buszmegállóból a Kecskeméti vagy a Bácskai utcán keresztül jutunk a partra (600 m).
Parking
- A stranddal párhuzamos utcában és a Bácskai utcai bejáratnál is ingyenes parkoló áll az autósok rendelkezésére.
