Az ingyenesen látogatható Gödrösi szabadstrand rögtön a Tihanyi-félsziget bejáratánál található. A strand előnye, hogy napkeltétől napnyugtáig ide süt a nap, valamint hogy egy hosszú büfésor húzódik mellette.

Az északi part kevés szabadtsradjainak egyike a gödrösi, amelynek egyik vonzereje, hogy rögtön belebotlik az ember, hiszen Balatonfüred felől a félsziget bejáratánál helyezkedik el.

Előnye még, hogy napkeltétől napnyugtáig lehet napozni, mivel a hegy nem árnyékolja be. Ugyanekkor ez a hátránya is: árnyékot nehezen találunk. Lehetőség van vízibicikli, kajak és napozóágy bérlésére, valamint közvetlenül a strand mellett húzódik egy hosszú büfésor is.

Ne számítsunk klasszikus, füves strandra; a Tihanyi-félsziget keleti peremény futó Lepke-sor mentén egy keskeny, lebetonozott partszakaszból áll a strand.
