A félsziget keleti oldalában futó Lepke-sorról hangulatos csapáson közelíthetjük meg a Ciprián-forrást. A nem túl bővizű, sokszor csak csörgedező forrás vize iható, ami azért is fontos, mert az egész félszigeten ez az egyetlen természetes vízlelő hely.
Az Óvár Balaton felőli oldalában, a jelzett csapáson érkezhetünk a Barátlakásokhoz. A vulkáni kőzetbe vájt lakóhelyiséget az I. András király feleségével, a kijevi Anasztáziával együtt Magyarországra érkezett bizánci szerzetesek alakították ki, ezért is hívták a közeli forrást évszázadokig Orosz-kútnak. A tó vize mellett ez a forrás biztosíthatta a barátok vízszükségletét.
Mai nevét Halbik Ciprián Gáspár tihanyi apátról kapta, aki a forrás állítólagos felfedezője.

- A forrást legkönnyebben a tihanyi kikötő felől közelíthetjük meg. A buszokról a Tihany, hajóállomás bejárati út megállónál szálljunk le.

- A kikötőtől induljunk el a part menti Lepkés-soron észak felé, majd 500 méter múlva, egy kerékpáros pihenőnél forduljunk balra az erdőben induló csapásra (Z jelzés). Innen már csak 150 méter a forrás.

- A kikötőnél találunk parkolót.
