German Alpine Club (DAV)
The Essen and Rostock Huts
A warm welcome to our lodge!
Here we’ve compiled all the important information you’ll need for your visit. Each host provides further details on amenities, how to get here, and access routes, as well as suggested tours.
Our hut is part of the “Mit Kindern auf Hütten” campaign, an initiative by the Alpine Clubs in Germany, Austria, and South Tyrol promoting family-friendly huts. It is suitable for children ages 7 to 8 and older. Our adventure areas: several climbing rocks nearby; a water play area 15 minutes away, a mighty stream, and mountain lakes; goats, sheep, and young cattle; salamanders, frogs, marmots, and weasels; a children’s playground
If you have any further questions, please contact us directly. We look forward to your visit!
If you are planning a stay at the lodge with dogs, please check with us in advance.
