Montainbikerouten zum Steinplan-Schutzhaus:
- von Knittelfeld-Gobernitz, Forststraße, 13 km, 1.050 Höhenmeter, schwer
- von Kleinlobming – Hintertal, 12,5 km, 910 Höhenmeter, mittelschwer
- von Rachau, 16 km, 1.010 Höhenmeter, schwer
- "Brandwaldsteig" - Singletrail - Nur für Radfahrer, Helmpflicht!!! Freeride Trail der Stadt Knittelfeld, legal gebaut und frei zu-gänglich. Schöner Trail, der schon etwas abfahrtsorientierte Rahmengeometrie erfordert. Im unteren Bereich dann steiler und nach Niederschlag sehr schlammig. Eintieg: 1253 m, Ausstieg: 816 m, Streckenlänge 3 km.

- von Kleinlobming - asphaltierte Straße bis zum Gehöft Oberkamper – ca. 1¼ Std. (Weg 525)
- von Rachau bei Knittelfeld (Forststraße bis Augerl) – ca. 2½ Std. (Weg 525/502)
- vom Oskar Schauerhaus (Sattelhaus) – ca. 2 bis 2½ Std. (Weg 505/502)
