With nearly 900 m of elevation gain, one of the longer ascents on the Steinplan. The terrain is quite easy and offers some options. The route runs mostly through forested areas and requires a good snow cover due to the starting point at around 800 m elevation. The Steinplan offers a top-class panorama: the view reaches to the Karawanks, Hochschwab, the Seetal and Seckauer Alps, as well as to the Schöckl.
