Die gemütliche Hütte ist als Stützpunkt für längere Wandertouren wie den Wiener Höhenweg und die Glocknerrunde, als auch als Ausgangspunkt für die Besteigung des Großglockners bestens geeignet. Unser Hüttenwirtinnen Team bietet beste Verpflegung und herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Die Hütte bietet sich auch für eine Tageswanderung entweder vom Glocknerhaus (Großglocknerhochalpenstraße) oder vom Lucknerhaus (Kalser Glocknerstraße) aus an. (Aufstieg jeweils rd. 3 Std, Abstieg 2 Stunden)
Die Hütte wurde im Sommer 2017 durch einen Zubau erweitert und bietet neben einer neuen Stube und einer Terasse mit Glocknerblick auch einen Trockenraum im Keller!Durch die neue, größere Küche wurde auch das Speisenangebot durch unsere Hüttenwirtin Helga noch einmal erweitert und verbessert!
