The Kappeler Alp is open year-round. A marked winter hiking trail leads from the valley to the mountain hut, and the return journey can be made swiftly by sled.

- Wednesday - Sunday: 10.00 - 18.00 hrs
- Friday evening open until 20.00
- Day off: Monday & Tuesday
