    Wunderschöne, abwechslungsreiche Wanderung mit vielen Aussichtspunkten und Highlights! Die Mauruskapelle beispielsweise ist so ein Kleinod, das einen kurzen Umweg lohnt. Empfehlenswert ist in Beuron ein kurzer Blick in die Klosterkirche und eine Stärkung im gegenüberliegenden Café Drahtesel, bevor die letzte Steigung zurück zum Rauhen Stein führt.

    Echt super Tour! Die Ausblicke ins Donautal sind ohne Übertreibung extra Klasse. Wir haben auf Burg Wildenfels übernachtet und sind morgens den oberen Alternativweg nach Beuron zurück. Würden wir wieder so machen, weil wir da nochmal 2 schöne Ausblicke hatten.

    Wir sind heute mal wieder diese schöne Tour im wunderschönen Donautal gewandert. Gerade jetzt im Herbst durch die Laubfärbung sehr zu empfehlen. Breitere Schotterwege wechseln sich mit schönen Pfaden ab. Es gibt ein paar Rastmöglichkeit. Die Aussicht von den Felsen ist sehr beeindruckend. Die Tour ist perfekt ausgeschildert.

    Geparkt auf dem Gelände dem ehemaligen Hammerwerk in Tiergarten. Der Donau entlang bis Gutenstein. Von dort hoch zum Kreuzfelsen. Schöner Ausblick auf Gutenstein und Donau. Kurz danach Himmelsliege ideal für Vesper. Weiter zum Rabenfelsen. Ab hier wird es etwas alpin. Nach den wunderbaren Felsen mit immer wieder phantastischen Ausblicken, geht es durch den Wald. Später auf Waldwegen. Der Abstieg zur Landstraße nach 'Thiergarten erfolgt wieder über einen steilen schmalen Weg. Sehr schöne Tour, die eine gewisse Herausforderung ist.

    Eine der schönsten Touren im Oberen Donautal Wir haben die Tour anderes herum gemacht und sind ab Neidingen durch den "Fall" aufgestiegen (rote Raute), das wilde Tal mit dem senkrecht aufragenden Talabschluss markierenden Felsen, der mit einem abenteuerlich an den Fels montieren Steg überwunden wird. Der Abstieg auf der Südseite ist eher langweilig, aber man gelangt wieder zügig zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
