The exploration route shows you not only the northern edge of the Danube breakthrough with the well-known viewpoints Eichfelsen, Rauher Stein and Spaltfels/Burg Spaltfels, but also the features of the opposite valley side with Wildenstein Castle and furthermore allows a bird’s eye view of Beuron Monastery. The high plateau near Irndorf is also not forgotten. By the way, Eichfelsen is the namesake for the premium hiking trail "DonauWelle Eichfelsen-Panorama".

From Beuron, two more hikes start, which partly follow the Danube, give access to the water and explore the opposite side of the valley:
Beuron - Through the Danube Canyon from the monastery to the picturesque Wildenstein Castle
Beuron - The Danube breakthrough between the monastery and Bronnen Castle
