    Sehr schöne Wandertour, die Höhenmeter hat man gar nicht so gemerkt. Im letzten Drittel haben wir die Tour etwas geändert, um an diesem wunderschönen Herbsttag etwas mehr Sonne zu erhaschen.

    Die Wanderstrecke führt ausschließlich durch Weinberge in Südhanglage mit wunderschönen Ausblicken bis in die Rheinebene, zu den Ausläufern der Haardt und zu den Nachbarorten. Schöne breite (teilweise asphaltierte) Wege führen durch gepflegten Anbau von sehr vielen Traubensorten. Wermutstropfen: Leider ist die Tour überhaupt nicht gekennzeichnet!!??

    Die Tour ist recht einfach aber dennoch schön. Wir benötigten nur 3 Std. mit kurzer Einkehr in der Siebeldinger Hütte. Auch sind es nicht 400 sondern ca. 260 Höhenmeter. Alles in allem sehr entspannt auf oft breiten geschotterten Wegen.

    Hallo, Frank, eine schöne - gemütliche Wanderung. Ideal als Einstieg ins Wanderleben. Gerade für Ungeübte/Neulinge ganz toll geeignet. Was ebenso sehr gut angekommen ist: Der Außensitzplatz bei der Siebeldinger Hütte ist überdacht - auch bei schlechtem Wetter und mit mehreren Hunden eine ideale Rast!

    Von Eußerthal in der Nähe von Annweiler führte die Route mit dem gelben Balken auf dem ersten Anstieg über die Siebeldinger Hütte zum einsam, aber traumhaft gelegenen Forsthaus Taubensuhl, von wo sich an unserem Wandertag ein sonniger Weitblick nach Nordosten bot. Nächster Anlaufpunkt ein gutes Stück abwärts war das Dörfchen Hofstätten, eines von mehreren "Enden der Welt" im tiefen Pfälzerwald ;-) Von hier ging es nach einer kleinen Einkehr mit dem blau-gelben Balken hinauf, hinüber und hinunter zum Annweiler Forsthaus, ebenfalls herrlich gelegen, jedoch leider seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr bewirtschaftet. Die Route zog sich nun mit dem rot-weißen Balken stetig bergab, am Kaltenbach entlang bis zur B48. Nach deren Überquerung folgte der letzte und längste Anstieg, der auf den Almersberg hinauf und letztlich wieder zurück nach Eußerthal führte. Die Wege waren auf Grund des schneearmen Winters und ausgebliebenen Regens der letzten Wochen staubtrocken und hatten offensichtlich auch unter den Forstarbeiten nicht allzu sehr gelitten in der letzten Zeit. Streckenweise ging es über breite Waldwege, oft über verwurzelte Pfade, kaum über Schotter bzw. Asphalt. Die Markierungen ließen keine Wünsche offen, zumal in dieser Gegend vielerorts komplett neue Wegweiser zu finden sind. Dafür vielen Dank für den Einsatz der fleißigen Hände, die dafür gesorgt haben!
