Rinnthal loop

At first, the route follows a wide hiking trail into the Kaltenbach valley. After about one kilometer, we cross the stream and then follow the marker (blue/yellow stripe). Initially, we hike on a wide forest path, then ascend a narrow trail up to the "Forester's Lodge Annweiler". The descent then follows narrow paths down to the Eiderbach valley and then the ascent to Hofstätten. There we meet the marker (yellow stripe) which leads us further to the forester's lodge Taubensuhl. The path first runs along the country road for a while, then turns down into the Rinnthal. After the descent, the route follows the busy federal road B48 for about 200 meters; you have to pay close attention not to miss the turn into the forest. The following steady ascent takes place on a narrow path, which is marked but only rarely used. After reaching the height, the path continues on a wide forest trail to the forester's lodge. A beautiful forest trail (blue stripe) then continues to the "Grenzstein". A new marking (red/white stripe) leads down into the Rinnthal back to our starting point on a narrow, partly steep path.
