The restaurant Alte Post in Lustadt is known for its fish specialties.
In the small restaurant in the town center of Lustadt, traditional regional cuisine is offered, with a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients. The dishes predominantly feature local products from Lustadt farmers and other producers from the South Palatinate. In winter, the in-house smokehouse produces smoked salmon. Freshwater and saltwater fish are available seasonally, such as Skrei in January and February; sea bream and Mediterranean bass in summer. Additionally, throughout the year, you can enjoy preserved fish, trout, and char from the Black Forest as well as whitefish from the Allgäu.
