didn’t follow this trail from the map but rather from the signs along the trail. it was very well signed. the segment itself is a mellow downhill but goes through some beautiful sections of conifer forest. we found this to be a refreshing change of scenery from the high alpine we’d been in over the last few days. enjoy!

It was an excellent trip, but not possible to do it as a round trip - we walked the percorso naturalistico, but after the cross, the path on the top on Monte Roan had been collapsed on the south side.
