Public transport

The best way to reach the Alpe di Siusi is with the Alpe di Siusi cable car from Siusi allo Sciliar. The cable car is in operation in summer from mid-May to the beginning of November  At the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car there are plenty of free parking spaces or a multi-storey car park (hourly rate: € 0.40, max. € 3.00 per day) where you can leave your car for several days.

Directions

The road to the Alpe di Siusi nature reserve is closed to private traffic from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. During this time you can reach the Alpe di Siusi with the Alpe di Siusi cable car or by bus. The descent from Compatsch is possible at any time.
Get there by train, car, bike, or on foot!

    Schöne Tour, der Gipfel vom Weg ab war ein wenig ätzend. Haben 6h reine Gehzeit gebraucht, mit Hütteneinkehr und Gipfelpause 7h+.

    Wir sind diese Runde am 13.09.2026 bei Sonne und verhältnismäßig hohen Temperaturen gegangen. Da die Tour zu 80 - 90% über schattige Waldwege geht, war sie auch für unseren schwarzen Labrador gut zu machen.

    Eine tolle Tour, die technisch einfach ist. Die Länge und die Höhenmeter sind aber durchaus nicht zu unterschätzen. Gute Schuhe schaden nicht. im ersten Abschnitt war es recht einsam, ab dem Sellajoch dann teilweise sehr voll. Auf den bekannten Strecken ist man in Südtirol halt selten allein.

    Eine schöne Tour auf der viel besuchten Seiser Alm. Streckenweise wurde es überraschend einsam, aber es gibt Almen zur Einkehr und Möglichkeiten zum Abkürzen. Wichtig: die angegebenen Höhenmeter und die Streckenlänge beinhalten beide Fahrten mit der Bergbahn! Die eigentlich gegangene Strecke ist also deutlich kürzer (und dadurch sicherlich für viele sofort machbarer!)!

    Traumhafte Tour! Auch bei Nässe noch kletterbar. Rückzug wegen gebohrten Ständen mit Ringen problemlos möglich. Mit Cams kann man die Abstände der Schlaghaken überbrücken, aber es geht auch ohne mobile Sicherungen wenn man kein Problem mit teils sehr weiten Hakenabständen hat.
