Sibbesse lies on the edge of the northern Harz foreland and is surrounded by a picturesque landscape. The region is characterised by rolling hills covered in forests. The idyllic villages with their half-timbered houses add to the charm of the area.

Visit Marienburg Castle - a majestic castle complex on a high hill above the river Leine. The castle was built in neo-Gothic style and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.

Culture enthusiasts should definitely visit the Museum of Urban and Regional History. Here you can learn more about the history of the region - from the Stone Age to modern times.

For gourmets, Sibbesse has a lot to offer! Try local specialities such as the famous asparagus or enjoy fresh bread from a traditional German bakery.

In summer, hikes along the Leinebergland Trail or bike tours through the surrounding countryside are inviting. In winter, there are numerous opportunities for skiing in the nearby mountains.

If it rains, we recommend a trip to the Hildesheim adventure pool. Here you can swim, slide and relax in the wellness area.

No matter what time of year, Sibbesse is worth a visit! Visit us and discover the beauty of this region for yourself.

Also - Ausschilderung beachten.
