The route to the highest summit starts with trails, ends with trails and in the middle: the best trail in the region!
A solid trail share of around 50% sounds fun at first. However, these paths do not only lead downhill. And exactly these narrow climbs require good pedal power. You can note this on the root trail right at the beginning – either mentally or on your legs. This is followed by a section along the forest edge, which can distract from all kinds of exertion with nice views. After crossing the road over the Roter Berg (at kilometer 10.4), a flowing trail section begins that leads down to Diekholzen. It is packed with countless curves that are great fun. During the following eight kilometers, it goes almost continuously uphill. The Griesberg, the longest climb in the region at 360 meters, naturally wants to be conquered sportily. The TV tower marks the end of the climb, but not yet the end of the route. As a final highlight, a trail leads back to the bike park and at the very end over the new CC route.
