Sanitz

Sanitz offers its visitors a variety of tourist attractions. One of the main attractions is Sanitz Castle, a magnificent baroque castle from the 18th century with beautiful gardens and parks. Another highlight is the St. Marien Church, a Gothic church from the 14th century with an impressive interior.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered: The "Alte Apotheke" gallery regularly hosts exhibitions of contemporary art, while the Kulturhaus Sanitz hosts theatre performances and concerts.

For culinary delights, we definitely recommend the traditional fish market on the market square or a visit to the brewery "Zum Alten Fritz", where you can enjoy regional specialities.

Being active outdoors is particularly good here: hiking or cycling through the picturesque landscapes around Sanitz are popular outdoor activities - especially in spring and summer when everything is blooming and green! Those who rather crave adventure should take a canoe trip on the Warnow or try their hand at fishing!

But even in bad weather there is plenty to do: The museum "Leben und Arbeiten in Sanitz" (Life and Work in Sanitz) offers an insight into the history of the town, while the swimming pool "Aquadrom" provides water fun.
