Experience the beautiful Recknitztal around Dettmannsdorf-Kölzow as well as the manor house "Schloss Kölzow" in all its splendor.
Right in the center of Kölzow is the attractive, restored manor house Schloss Kölzow, built in 1850 in the neoclassical style and surrounded by a beautiful 8-hectare park. The opposite fieldstone church is also worth a visit. Built around 1210, the church is one of the oldest in the region and is particularly impressive due to its frescoes rediscovered only in 1983.
Ride along the forest to Dudendorf. On the way to Thelkow, you should stop at the bridge over the Recknitz and enjoy the wide view of the landscape.
From Thelkow to Zarnewanz, you ride partly on natural paths. Via Reppelin and Wendorf, you then return to Dettmannsdorf-Kölzow.

Roadbook
The discovery route into the very charming Recknitztal is best started at the parking lot at the gas station in the village of Dettmannsdorf-Kölzow on state road L 19. You first ride about 1.5 km south into the district of Kölzow.
Visit the church and the manor house "Schloss Kölzow" in the village center.
Then continue south on Kölzower Chaussee until the village exit. Here keep left and follow “Zum Walde” to the forest. After about one kilometer, you pass a farmstead and then keep right. Now you ride the unpaved path along the forest edge, first following a left turn before at the next fork you have to keep left again. After about 50 m, turn right again. After a short part through the forest, you ride along the forest edge to Dudendorf.
Follow Neue Dorfstraße through the village towards the Recknitz. A cobblestone path leads you through a forest patch to the bridge over the river. Enjoy the wide views of the beautiful landscape.
About 2 km east of the bridge is the Recknitzberg leisure farm, if you want to take a little detour.
Our route leads you straight on over concrete tracks, asphalt roads, and along beautiful tree-lined avenues through Liepen to Thelkow. Follow the signage behind the inn to the right towards Starkow. Small field and forest paths guide you after 2.5 km to an impressive blue weir. On the opposite riverbank, a natural path leads to Zarnewanz. From here it goes back via traffic-calmed asphalt roads through Stormstorf to Reppelin and the L 19.
Here, first turn left following the signs to Wendorf, which is 2 km north of the road. Left past the park, a path leads you directly to the road to Dammerstorf.
Turning right, you reach the village after only 400 m. In the village center, turn left onto the exit to Wöpkendorf. Just behind the first houses of Wöpkendorf, you reach a junction where turning right leads back to Dettmannsdorf-Kölzow. Here you can rest your tired limbs and enjoy the end of the route.

Take the A20 exit towards Sanitz or Tessin and follow the B110 until you turn right onto the country road to Dettmannsdorf in Sanitz.Parking
