Mandern lies at the foot of the Hunsrück Mountains and is known for its picturesque vineyards along the Moselle. The region is also famous for its numerous castles, such as Montclair Castle or Saarburg Castle. A highlight for any visitor is certainly also the many hiking trails through forests, mountains and river valleys.

Culture enthusiasts can look forward to historic sites such as the Roman amphitheatre of Trier or visit one of the many museums. Another highlight is the annual wine festival in Bernkastel-Kues with its traditional parades and tastings of regional wines.

Mandern also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the delicious Riesling wine from the surrounding vineyards or enjoy regional specialities such as Saumagen (a type of stuffed pork stomach) or Dampfnudeln (sweet yeast dumplings).

For outdoor lovers, there are plenty of activities at any time of year: in summer, you can canoe on the Moselle or go on cycling tours along the river; in winter, skiing beckons in the nearby mountains.

And what to do in bad weather? Visit one of the many thermal baths or relax in a cosy café and enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the picturesque landscape.

Mandern, Trier-Saarburg is definitely worth a visit. Discover the beauty of this region and let yourself be enchanted by its hospitality!

Sehr abwechslungsreiche Wanderung .

Was ein Service! https://www.vrt-info.de/fahrplanauskunft/trip?branding=vrt&formik=destination%3DsuburbID%253A7235045%253A2%253AHermeskeil%253A773181%253A5613244%253AMRCV%26origin%3D17006101&lng=de

Klasse Tour!
