Maps and trails
Geographically, Irschenberg is located at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by green hills. The area is perfect for hiking, cycling or simply relaxing in an idyllic setting. Tourist attractions include the baroque church of St. Leonhard as well as Hohenburg Castle - both are a must for every visitor.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered here: The Farmhouse Museum shows life in the countryside in the 19th century, while the Markus Wasmeier Open-Air Museum gives an insight into the history of skiing.

For culinary specialities, we definitely recommend a snack of veal sausage and pretzels as well as a cool Helles beer in one of the cosy local beer gardens.

Outdoor activities can be enjoyed here at any time of year: In winter, the nearby Sudelfeld ski area beckons with its slopes, while in summer, hikes through the mountains or swimming in the nearby lake are the order of the day.

Even if it rains, you don't have to miss out on activities: The Tegernsee-Therme invites you to relax or visit one of the many museums such as the Franz Marc Museum.

Where is the most beautiful in Irschenberg? That's hard to say, because the area offers so many beautiful places. However, we recommend a walk through the forest or a hike up one of the surrounding mountains - here you can experience the beauty of this region first hand.

In short: Irschenberg, Miesbach is definitely worth a trip. Whether as a day trip or for a longer stay - this charming destination will not disappoint!

Interessanter Tobel. Bilderbuchbayern.
