    Roadbook

Starting from the Trachtenheim/Sportheim parking lot, we ride to Loiderdinger Straße, which we follow to Loiderding. Past the "Wirt von Loiderding," we turn onto a well-maintained dirt path that leads us through a charming landscape over Gmoabauer (turn left) and Reiter to Hackling. At the transformer house, we turn right and follow the road to Vagen, which we leave shortly after the Deßl property to the left and reach the Leitzach valley via Bergbauer and Niederhasling. Now we follow the road to Oberhasling, where we turn right at the bus shelter and reach Grasau via Haslinger Mill and a bridge over the Leitzach. The climb under the A8 motorway leads us to Brandlberg. From Brandlberg, we cycle with a slight ascent to Pfisterer, where the road then descends to Reichersdorf. The richly furnished church in this picturesque village is worth a visit. At the intersection by Gasthof Rank, we turn sharply right and follow the road to Pienzenau (Miesbach), which we shortly leave again on the left after a few hundred meters and reach the Grainholzer and Filzer properties through the forest and a somewhat steeper climb. We turn left at Filzer and ride over Giglberg and Schwibich to an intersection where we take the path via Locher and Hinteröd before entering the Leitzach valley again near Gasthof Auerschmied (attention: steep and winding descent). After about 50 meters on the district road towards Miesbach, we turn right and follow the also steep and winding road to the farmsteads Karlinger and Kasthub on the Heimberg. Our efforts are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Wendelstein to the Chiemgau mountains. Passing the Heimberg chapel, we cross the intersection at Berger and reach the federal road 472 via Markstein, where we briefly follow the bike path to Miesbach and immediately turn left at the height of Potzenberg to Frauenried. In Frauenried, you should take a look inside the former pilgrimage church through the door, with its lovely furnishings. The further path leads past the cemetery wall and a chapel and winds through the forest back down into the Leitzach valley (attention: turn sharply right immediately after leaving the forest). After Thalhamer and crossing the Leitzach again, the path climbs steeply to the farmer of Ahrain. On the connecting road from Jedling into the Leitzach valley, we turn left at the bus shelter in Zieglhaus and ride via Großschönau, Lehermann, Hofreuth, and Harraß to Niklasreuth. In Niklasreuth, we especially enjoy the view of Irschenberg and surrounding villages and refresh ourselves in the cozy guest rooms of Gasthof Jost for the onward journey. We continue cycling on the district road to Au and turn left after about 1 km. There, the path leads us via Briefer, Starzberg, and Kalten to Grub. In Grub, Gasthof Kotz invites you to rest and refresh. From Grub, we ride toward Miesbach and turn right about 300 meters after the crest to Großhub. From Großhub, the route takes us partly through the original Poschanger Filze. At the new riding hall, we turn right and head towards Binzerhütte Untermoos. A worthwhile detour is the visit to the church of St. Anian in Alb before we ride along the edge of the Hochholzer Filze and meet the road to Wendling-Dettendorf, which takes us directly to Wilparting to the church of St. Marinus and Anian. The Moarhof right next door is a welcome resting place before tackling the last part of the route. A few hundred meters after Wilparting, we pass under the A8 motorway and reach a crossroads via Leiten, Obholz, and Falter, which we cross, and then cycle up to the crowning finale at the Irschenberg viewpoint. There, we enjoy a unique view of the mountain range from Benediktenwand to Hochstaufen. We return via Irschenberg to the starting point and can then still enjoy the benefits of the local gastronomy in a cozy atmosphere.
