We start at the parking lot by the church "St. Marinus and Anianus" in Wilparting. A visit to the church is worthwhile! The path leads on the left side around the "Café zum Moar." We follow the signpost "Alb" across the meadow to the edge of the forest. There we turn left. On a good hiking trail, we go downhill. We cross the brook of the Röthengraben on a metal bridge. Via stairs, we hike to the Anianus chapel. Next to it stands the isolated farm Alb. Through the farmyard, we go west on the paved road to the Untermoos farmstead, from there northwest through sparse woods to open fields. We pass the properties "Hochholz" and turn right at the fork in the road. Then the path leads through the Wöllkamer tunnel under the highway and then climbs towards Irschenberg. The signpost "Zur Aussicht" leads us over meadows to an incomparable viewpoint. In good weather, the view extends to the Chiemgau Alps including the Kampenwand. After enjoying the view, we hike eastward to the parking lot by the water reservoir and down the little road to a junction. Via the signpost "Obholz" we reach Falter, Obholz, and Leiten to another highway tunnel. Shortly thereafter, we return to the starting point at Wilparting.
