Tourist bus lines such as the PlusBus, which also run on weekends and provide connections to regional train stations, include line 210 between Chemnitz and Oberwiesenthal via Burkhardtsdorf, Gelenau, Thum and Ehrenfriedersdorf, as well as line 441 between Schwarzenberg and Ehrenfriedersdorf via Geyer and the Greifensteine. From Stollberg via Zwönitz, Thalheim, Gornsdorf and Auerbach, line 190 runs hourly on weekdays and every two hours on weekends. Local buses and smaller lines mainly serve connections between towns and districts on weekdays. Upon request with the respective service provider, bicycle transport on buses is also usually possible.
