Geography Fischbach is located at the foot of the Palatinate Forest and thus offers numerous outdoor activities such as hiking or mountain biking. The area is also known as the "valley of a hundred mills", as there are many old water mills here.

Sightseeing attractions The 12th century St Laurentius Church is a must-see for every visitor. The historic town hall with its half-timbered style should also not be missed.

Culture. Fischbach regularly hosts cultural events, including concerts and theatre performances. A highlight is the annual wine festival in September.

Culinary delights. An absolute must-try are the typical Palatinate specialities such as Saumagen or liver dumplings with sauerkraut - simply delicious! The regional wine is also a must when visiting Fischbach.

Outdoor Activities The Palatinate Forest offers endless opportunities for hiking or cycling tours through picturesque landscapes in every season. In winter, you can even go skiing on the surrounding mountains.

Rainy days. On rainy days, we recommend a trip to nearby Kaiserslautern for shopping or a visit to the Fritz Walter Stadium.

Beautiful Places The surroundings of Fischbach are simply breathtaking. Hikes on the surrounding mountains such as the Donnersberg, the highest elevation in Rhineland-Palatinate, are particularly beautiful.

Gerhard S
