    Wir haben auf der Etappe des Rheinterrassenwegs den Weinautomat genutzt. Preise sind voll in Ordnung, Technik hat gut funktioniert, allerdings Altersnachweis nur mit Perso, Führerschein hat bei mir nicht geklappt. Die Erfrischung war perfekt, die Weinschorle und Weine sind perfekt für ein Picknick etwas weiter oben im Wingert.

    Der Kleine Mainzer Höhenweg ist sehr schön. Ich finde es gut dass fast immer neber dem Schotterweg ein Grünstreifen ist welcher gut zum ausweichen benutzt werden kann. Am Ende der Etappe zwei und nach einem Drittel der Etappe drei ist je ein Bäcker Schäfer der auch Sonntags geöffnet hat.

    Ich bin diese klassischen Wege schon sehr häufig gefahren. Der östliche Teil hinterm dem Deich in der Hessenaue ist nur beim erstenmal ein Erlebnis danach tröge und meditativ. Ich empfehle die Fahrrichtung der Schleife je nach Windrichtung zu wählen. In der Hessenaue - östliches Rheinufer - gibt es kaum Windschutz, auf der Westseite schon. In Nierstein besser die Straße wählen als das Wege-Gewürge auf der "Uferpromenade".

    Die Tour ist zwar schön, aber der Start- und Endpunkt sollte an der Brücke gewählt werden. Da der Weg vom Startpunkt bis zur Brücke, zwar als Radweg ausgeschildert ist, aber auf einer viel befahrenen Straße entlangführt, mindert es den Gesamteindruck. Und ist in meinen Augen nicht familientauglich, wenn der Startpunkt so gewählt wird.
