NYNY6-14.a Dunasziget

From 2017 onwards, we vacationed at the Maywald Guesthouse in Dunasziget. At the end of the guesthouse garden flows the Zátonyi-Danube. Using the owner's aluminum boat, we rowed to a quiet spot and rested there. A small grove on the shore provided shade.

At first, we usually had to cut through the obstacles in the Danube branch that the storm had brought. Clearing brush was also necessary on the shore, but afterward nothing disturbed the rest. Only occasionally did canoeists/kayakers pass by on the water, and riders on the meadow next to the grove.

In Dunasziget, the Zátonyi Csárda Guesthouse is only open from Thursday to Sunday. They do not cook very good fish soup.
