Informative signs introduce various grape varieties—such as Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Sankt Laurent. There, visitors can learn fascinating facts about the origin, characteristics, flavor, and uses of each grape variety.
The trail is at its most beautiful especially in the spring during bloom or in the golden autumn during the grape harvest.
UFFBASSE! – Campaign for considerate coexistence in nature
- Be considerate while out and about —always act thoughtfully, kindly, and considerately toward everyone you meet along the way. This is especially important on farm roads, where winemakers, farmers, and foresters work even on weekends.
- Picnics & Trash – Remember to bring a trash bag with you and take your trash home with you. Use only the designated rest areas for breaks and picnics.
- Nature Conservation —Stay on the marked trails and avoid making unnecessary noise when you’re out in nature.
- Keep Dogs on a Leash – Please always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals will appreciate it.

Safety information
On farm roads —We ask that you always be considerate and friendly toward one another. Winemakers, farmers, and foresters use these farm roads through fields, forests, and vineyards for their daily work—even on weekends. Due to work activities and/or weather conditions, the roads may be particularly muddy at times. Special caution is also advised on the roads in and around the Palatinate villages.Tips and suggestions
