The challenging crossing of the three peaks of the Watzmann is generally considered the king's route of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Partly high alpine, the route is only feasible for experienced, absolutely surefooted and free from vertigo mountaineers.
Author’s recommendation
A via ferrata set can be used in some sections, but the crossing is not a via ferrata!
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
