Schneibstein round route

From the Hinterbrand parking lot follow the signs to Königsbachalm, past the Jennerbahn mid-station. Above Königsbachalm there is a short steep ascent, then turn left towards Stahlhaus. When the path goes gently downhill again, the turnoff to Königstalalm is on the right. Past Königstalalm follow a wide path to a small alpine pasture area, here turn left onto the barely visible path. The path leads below Bockskehl and past Reinersbergbruggl and meets the circular trail of the Kleine Reibn. The stone cairns help with orientation. On the Kleine Reibn path, then head north towards Schneibstein. From Schneibstein a natural path leads to Stahlhaus. From Stahlhaus continue towards Jenner, take the Jennerbahn cable car down to the mid-station and save approximately 500 meters of descent. Shortly before the ascent to the Jennerbahn, the descent via the piste branches off to the left. About 150 meters of descent on the piste path to the Krautkaserlift - upper station. From here the Krautkasersteig leads to the access path, still about 15 minutes to the starting point.
