A short but eventful circular hike starting at the mountain station of the Laber mountain railway.
A circular route from the mountain station of the Laber mountain railway to the Soilasee, the picturesque Soilaalm, and the Ettaler Manndl. In spring and summer, the rich flora enchants, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot a chamois.

Roadbook
From the mountain station, the path leads in about 20 minutes over the "Nebele" to the first fork. Following the signpost "Ettaler Mandl", after 15 minutes past the turnoff to Ettal, you reach the entry to the via ferrata on the Ettaler Mandl after a further 5 minutes. The half-hour detour to the distinctive Mandl is rewarded with a wonderful view – hikers who are not completely sure-footed or have a fear of heights can skip the climbing part, circle the Mandl, and continue directly to the Soilasee. Past the lake, switchbacks lead uphill to the already passed "first fork". Along the way, you are repeatedly treated to magnificent views of the surrounding mountain landscape. In spring and summer, the rich flora enchants, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot a chamois. The path leads us back to the mountain station, where the innkeeper looks forward to your visit!
