A physically demanding circuit borders the valley where the village of Hodruša – Hámre is located. It offers many views. It includes riding along the Hornohodrušský stream and leads past the Moderštôlňa reservoir.

The circuit is marked in red, and the start and end can be chosen anywhere. We recommend riding counterclockwise. The highest point of the course is Kerling (820m), the lowest section is in Dolné Hámre (223m).

The physically demanding section is an approximately 10 km long steady climb starting about 1 km below the road sign marking the end of Hodruša-Hámre and ending in Kopanice, where you can refresh at the local pub. After several short climbs, the route leads to the Pleso saddle and further along a forest trail through the Hornohodrušský stream to the Červená Studňa saddle. At Červená Studňa is the cultural and tourist center Hájovňa with refreshment options.

From Červená Studňa, the circuit follows an asphalt road towards Hodruša-Hámre, but after 850 m you need to turn right onto a forest road that goes through Hadový, Rumplovská, up to Kerling. This place offers, besides a local chapel, panoramic views of the opposite hills of the Štiavnické vrchy – Sitno, Veľký and Malý Tanád, Hrb, Banište, and parts of the village Kopanice. The route continues to the homesteads in Vrchy, where there are views into the Hodrušská valley and to the opposite ridge of Kojatín. A steep descent continues down to Hodruša-Hámre, where the route meets the asphalt road. After turning right, bike signage leads to the municipal office of Hodruša-Hámre. Opposite stands the hotel Daro offering refreshments in its restaurant.
