The route follows marked snowmobile trails, with a total length of 232.2 km. There is a refueling point in Hossa.
The route includes road crossings as well as sections driven on ice. Please check the condition of the ice before starting your trip to ensure a safe ride throughout the route.
Start from the Spa Hotel Kiannon Kuohut, the snowmobile trail leaves from the end of the building. Note that you must stay on the marked snowmobile trail as there are current spots near the shore. The snowmobile trail towards Hossa starts from the shore on the ice, at the intersection follow the marked trail to the left towards the southeast. The snowmobile trail branches about 33 km into the ride, turn right and continue about 51 km, then turn right again for another 26 km. Refueling is possible in Hossa and if you go to the fuel station go straight, for other destinations turn right. The snowmobile trail branches again after about 29 km, continue on the left snowmobile trail for about 47 km and choose the trail going to the right. The next stage leads to Kiantajärvi, be careful and only drive on the marked snowmobile trail, as there is a current spot on the lake. The current spot is about 7 km into the ice ride between the continents. Another current spot starts a little before the bridge underpass, so drive only on the marked trail. The snowmobile trail returns to the starting point.
