Allgäuer Logenplatzroute - the mountains in view
A wonderful and scenic hike for adventure hikers who enjoy switching between relaxed sections and altitude meters.
Logenplatz-Route - the mountains in view: Please, take a seat! A Logenplatz has something noble; at the same time, you witness a festive and special event. On this approximately 120-kilometer-long route, the main role is played by the mountain panorama, which is often wonderfully visible from the gently undulating pre-Alpine landscape. Start and end point is the idyllic town of Seeg, the honey village of the Allgäu. Like bees, hikers on the route only visit the tastiest and most beautiful blossoms: fragrant meadows, wetlands and moors with rare plants and insects, waterfalls, scenic heights, a wild river and a high mountain with views of the castle park, the Alps and Neuschwanstein Castle.

Schlosspark tips for your tour:
Provisions: Bring sufficient drinking water. A snack tastes especially good on the way.
Weather check: Best to check various services and ask local mountain experts, as it can rain or thunderstorm quickly in the mountains.
Companionship: You should not undertake a longer tour alone, even if it seems easy and harmless. Always leave your tour destination at your accommodation.
Ascent: Ascend slowly and evenly to protect your body. Untrained rushing in the mountains risks injuries or a mountain rescue deployment. Avoid hiking at night on unknown mountain paths.
Emergency: Be a helper in case of accidents! Get help at the next alpine hut or notify the mountain rescue service.
Distress signal: Make signal movements, calls or flashes six times a minute, then pause for one minute.

Stage: Seeg – Nesselwang
The start of the first stage of the Logenplatz-Route is in Ladestraße directly at the Seeg train station. With the station at your back, the marking points left to the nearby Bahnhofstraße. Here turn right and immediately left again into Wiesleutener Straße up to a small chapel, behind which the Kurgarten path goes right. Past a small pond you walk straight back into the village of Seeg. Following the main street to the left, at the next junction first turn right into Nesselwanger Straße, then immediately veer half-left onto a foot/cycle path. Passing under a high-voltage power line you reach a larger cluster of trees and walk along a meadow path beside the ski slope that borders the edge of the village. Another power line is crossed and again the route leads along a meadow slope and through a forested area. At the forest edge you reach the Hamlet Seeleuten, from where you take its access road to a nearby street at Schwaltenweiher. The street is crossed to the pond, then the route goes left first through a forest, then along a marshy area to the next path. On this, the hike continues right to a holiday farm. Almost 100 m after the farm you keep left directly in front of a pond, pass two more in quick succession, and reach a T-junction just before Neuweiher. Turn left onto an agricultural track and soon reach a farm and immediately after that cross the A7 motorway to another adjoining farm. At the next crossroads turn right and proceed about 600 m before veering onto a path heading left. Another 600 m the path curves 90°, then the Logenplatz-Route sharply turns left on the next farm track. Follow this path to where it meets another and then turn right along the shore of Kögelweiher. When the shore path turns south, turn right onto the diverging path. It soon forks, take the right fork. Enjoy varied scenery through small woodland areas and lush mountain meadows. After passing under a power line, a parking lot appears on the right; here take the left path into a settlement belonging to Nesselwang. Passing the Holy Trinity chapel, keep half-right (do not follow Rindegg street) and walk straight to the outskirts of Nesselwang. After crossing the railway tracks you are on Rindegger Weg, which you leave immediately to the right onto Lärchenstraße, then right again before the Mühlbach through a wooded strip. The path runs parallel to the railway tracks into the Kurpark, which flanks the station. Cross the Kurpark here and walk to Poststraße, which leads into Lindenstraße. Take this to the right to nearby Von-Lingg-Straße, from where the stately St. Andreas church is already visible. This puts you in the center of Nesselwang. The start and welcome area of the Wandertrilogie Allgäu is also the end and start point for the Logenplatz-Route.
Stage: Nesselwang – Oy-Mittelberg
From the start and welcome area at the valley station of the Alpspitzbahn, cross a meadow slope to the left, then follow a path to the right. After crossing Schlossbach, hike uphill with the stream through forest, passing the Nesselwanger waterfall and the ruins of Nesselburg. Past the Untere Alpe and Kronenhütte, continue to the intermediate station of the Alpspitzbahn. Along the cable car, continue uphill to the mountain station on Kappelköpfl. Keep right towards Alpspitze and after about 500 meters turn right again onto a path leading to the viewpoint summit. The descent begins rocky, then goes briefly over grassy patches and through forest on a partly root- and rock-strewn path to a clearing. Here the path turns right, leading downhill with moderate gradient to a wide forest road. Follow it left to a clearing where you cross a path and shortly after follow a left bend. After about 800 m, reach a sharp right curve. Then cross Reichenbach and after a 90° left bend arrive at a clearing. Past a small wooden house, turn left onto an asphalted farm track and after about 120 meters continue right on a diverging path. Through forest and over meadows, reach a district road, where after crossing a bog area is passed. After about 200 meters, turn left and follow the path over the dam of the Grüntensee. After passing a climbing forest and an inn, at the campsite on the outskirts of Haslach turn right at a T-junction. After about 250 meters, keep left on a farm track. Directly after passing under a federal road, follow the diverging path to the right and gently ascend over an open meadow area to the outskirts of Oy-Mittelberg. Here you reach the start and welcome area at the Kurhaus and tourist information.
Stage: Oy-Mittelberg – Görisried
The hike from Oy-Mittelberg to Görisried begins at the start and welcome area of the Wandertrilogie Allgäu near the Kurhaus with the tourist information. Immediately at the T-junction, the route turns right into Wertacher Straße. Shortly after a Raiffeisen market, the main street first goes right, just a few steps later the Poststraße leads to nearby Maria-Rainer-Straße. On this street turn right again and soon keep left into Schwändlesteig street. After about 100 m turn left into Im Schwändle street, then near a playground again left, cross the railway and walk left on a field path. At federal road 310, the route turns left to cross it after about 200 m. Follow the adjacent farm track to the left and into a forest. After about 300 m, the path curves left, continuing along the A7 motorway, then immediately turn left from a farm track onto a field path. Initially follow the forest edge, then the path bends left into the forest to a T-junction. Here turn right and follow the path through open landscape to a farm track. About 150 m from this, a field path branches right. The path enters forest, crosses Oberschwarzenberger Bach, and after the forest section reaches a junction. Continue left. Follow the path continuously along the forest edge. After about 1.5 km, pass a farm and follow the access road straight to a field path turning left. The path bends right after about 500 m at a forest edge. Initially continue along the right side of Hornbach forest, reach a farm and follow the access road to a T-junction. Turn right here, then left again and enter Wildberger Straße on the outskirts of Göisried. Left leads about one kilometer to the center of Göisried. The Logenplatz-Route continues right.
Stage: Göisried – Leuterschach

Later follow the path right along a meadow path to the forest edge. Just after entering the forest, turn left onto a beautiful path leading down to the Wertach River. Cross the river using a suspension bridge. The path continues left to Kaltenbrunn, where near buildings at a T-junction turn left onto a district road. Follow this for about 900 m on a cycle path. A few meters before a guesthouse, turn left again, then left again at the next junction, and immediately right. The path leads to a forest edge, then straight across a meadow. A few steps before a tree cluster, keep slightly right toward a path. In nearby Barnstein, walk left along the street, cross a district road, and continue on a meadow path to the village of Bergers. Through the village into an adjacent forest and past a water basin to the Wertach River, which is followed for about 2.1 km. Upon reaching the next river bend, ascend a path and some steps through a narrow forest strip and turn left at a junction with a guardian angel chapel just before the village of Wald. Past a few houses, cross a path, then at the next T-junction turn left, cross Rudratsbachl stream, and after about 130 m turn right onto a path. Along meadows, head toward the nearby forest edge. In the forest, reach a junction, walk about 450 m straight and then follow the meadows again. At the next T-junction, keep left and descend in switchbacks through a forest strip to the Wertach. For the next 1.3 km, walk again directly near the river. Then the route briefly moves away from the river to a viewpoint with a great view over Wertachtal. After about 400 m, leave the path on the left, shortly reconnect to the riverbank. After about 2.1 km, just before a distinctive river bend, turn right and at the outskirts of Leuterschach reach Schwendener Straße. Here cross a stream and walk to a T-junction where turn right to Römerbad. Shortly after, reach Kuhstallweiher pond. At the end of the parking lot, turn left, walk along the lake shore and after a very short forest section, turn left onto a path. Now walk straight through the forest to a hiking car park. After crossing a federal road, reach a T-junction; first turn right, then after about 300 m turn left toward the forest. Along the forest edge, reach another federal road. After crossing, keep left at a nearby junction and walk along a linden avenue to Kaufbeurer Straße, then left into adjacent Meichelbeckstraße. The goal, the start and welcome area, is now only a few steps away.
Stage: Marktoberdorf – Stötten am Auerberg

With the alley, leave Marktoberdorf and turn left at the noticeably highest point of the path. After about 200 m, turn right and soon walk through a small forest. Follow the gravel path to a right curve where it meets an asphalted farm road. Now turn right and follow a wooded hollow way downhill to federal road 472. On a parallel footpath, reach Bertoldshofen. Follow the federal road through the small village and cross the Geltnach river. Then walk on Schlossbergstraße, which branches right, out of the village. At the last house, the path gently ascends along a forest edge. After the climb, keep left and walk into the hamlet of Burk. After passing a farm, turn left at the nearby T-junction and shortly after follow the through road out of the village to the right. Immediately before a curve, turn right onto a path. After crossing a stream, pass through a small forest area with meadows to the left and groves to the right. Walk again through a small forest and meet Geltnach again. After crossing the river, swing left onto a parallel field path towards Stötten am Auerberg. Later cross a bridge and another body of water to a nearby farm. Pass the buildings and immediately turn right and walk to Stötten am Auerberg. Follow Burker Straße to the centrally located church of St. Peter and Paul.
Stage: Stötten am Auerberg – Lechbruck am See

The path soon ascends and continues on a field path to Bachthal settlement. Pass buildings on the right to a forest tip, cross a stream and at the next junction turn left. An asphalt farm road ascends to the forest, which is crossed almost straight on a 1.4 km path. Then reach a junction where keep right and at the following T-junction turn left again. Cross a meadow and gently ascend to the forest edge. Here, cross a path and pass a small forest. At the forest edge turn left onto the path. After a few meters at a T-junction by some houses, turn right and shortly after left into Helmensteiner Straße. The street ends at a property, where at the fork go left. In the forest, cross Höllenbächl and at a nearby T-junction turn left to a farm. The access road bends right, then sharply left onto a meadow path. The meadow path joins a field path by a forest.
