The circuit starts at the Šumiac - Červená Skala train station, from where you get to the Muránska planina National Park through Veľká lúka to the chalet under Muráň. Here you can refresh yourself, lock your bike, and climb without your bike on a hiking trail to Muránsky Castle, which is the third largest and highest situated castle in Slovakia, with enchanting views over the entire Muránska planina. The route returns to Veľká lúka with the only permanently inhabited settlement and stud farm breeding Hucul horses and continues to the Javorinka saddle, through Dlhá valley to Kuchárová, further to Čuntava and Besník. From there, along a little-trafficked first-class state road, a short section leads to the crossroads before Pusté Pole and then to the next section of the route through the Low Tatras National Park and under Kráľova Hoľa, back to Šumiac.
