Chata ležiaca v úvode trasy na Kráľovu hoľu zo Šumiaca je príjemnou zastávkou pred začiakrom turistiky, či cykloturistiky.  Okrem celodenného občerstvenia tu nájdete požičovňu ebikov,  ochotný personál, ktorý vám pomôže pri komplikáciach s bicyklom,  či ubytovanie.
