    Tips and suggestions

Respectful Coexistence in the Göppingen District.

    Code of Conduct:

    • Plan ahead and make the most of daylight. Try to avoid the morning and evening twilight hours.
    • Be considerate of animals and plants.
    • Respect other users of the woods and fields.
    • Act with foresight and consideration. Adapt your behavior to the situation at hand. Safety comes first.
    • Leave no trace—such as trash or animal waste—and treat the trails with care.
    • Respect trail closures and the quiet zones established in the recreational trail plan.
    • Observe the ban on entering agricultural land during the growing season.
    • Stay on the marked trails and avoid forest edges; this helps wildlife become more accustomed to people.

    Roadbook

The “Zwei-Täler-Steig” trail begins at City Hall and runs from Uhingen through Nassachmühle and Nassach to Diegelsberg.

After leaving the town of Uhingen, the trail leads halfway up the slope toward the Nassach Valley. Here, you’ll reach the Bärentobel Nature Reserve. The path gradually narrows and winds through the picturesque Häulesklinge, where a babbling brook adds to the scenic beauty.

Shortly before Nassach, the loop trail leaves the forest and leads across a mountain meadow lined with old orchard trees and pastures. The trail climbs steadily toward the Diegelsberger Platte. From there, you’ll enjoy a sweeping view of the Alb foothills and the Albtrauf, which stretches from the Hohenstaufen in the east to the Roßberg in the west—and even further on clear days.

The descent ends in the valley and leads along the banks of the Fils back to the starting point at City Hall.

    Public transport

Take the MEX 16 to Uhingen, then bus lines 911, 914, 915, 916, or 918 to "Uhingen Uditorium".
