To the Hahnenköpfle

After the break, the sporty part of the ascent begins: the path leads through quiet mountain forest and climbs increasingly steeply. As the altitude increases, the view opens up more and more - the Allgäu presents itself around the Hahnenköpfle with an unobstructed view of the surrounding peaks. Once you reach the summit cross, you are rewarded with an impressive 360-degree panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges. Here there is time for a well-earned snack with a view before the descent begins on the other side.

The return route leads back down into the valley via well-maintained paths. Shortly before Oberstdorf, there is another opportunity to stop for a bite to eat at Café Gruben before the last stretch leads back to the starting point.
