Das ehemalige Bergbauerndorf Gerstruben war mit 1155 m das höchstgelegene Dorf in Deutschland. Heute sind fünf Häuser und eine Kapelle erhalten, die zwischen 400 und 500 Jahre alt sind. Für Besucher gibt es eine Wirtschaft und ein Museum.
