ST314 Dunaszekcsö - Mohács (right bank)
The route passes Bár and Szőlőhegyi before arriving at Mohács.
As we approach Mohács, the landscape opens into the broad plain where the battle took place. Today, the town is peaceful, but its name remains inseparable from the turning point it represents — not only in Hungarian history, but in the long encounter between the Ottoman Empire and Europe.
Here, at Mohács, the Roman frontier road, the medieval kingdom, and the Ottoman throughway all converge at one of the most symbolic places along the entire trail.
