Leisurely hike starting from the Mariahilf Pilgrimage Church.
Easy hike starting and ending at the Mariahilf Pilgrimage Church in Speiden. A visit to the pilgrimage church and the Chapel of Grace is highly recommended. On the circular route, the beautiful view from Holz over the Ostallgäu mountain landscape and the distant Neuschwanstein Castle is particularly striking. Naturally, the castle ruins of Eisenberg and Hohenfreyberg are also repeatedly in the hiker's view. Returning to Speiden, a stop at the Mariahilfer Sudhaus is possible.

The starting point of the hike is the Mariahilf Pilgrimage Church in Speiden. From there, follow the hiking trail signs to Zell. Shortly before Zell, turn left to Holz. From there, continue on an asphalted side road to Unterdolden and back to Speiden.
The route mostly runs on asphalted side roads with very little car traffic.
