Pfrimm Valley Circular Hiking Route No. 4: From Pfrimmerhof over the Langen Stein to the Pfrimm spring
The starting point is at Pfrimmerhof (parking lot). Over the "Langen Stein", the circular route leads through the nature reserve "Sippersfelder Weiher", past the "Horex meadows", the Pfrimm spring, and the Steiger, Krebs, and Mühlen ponds back to Pfrimmerhof.
The approximately 6-kilometer-long circular route leads from Pfrimmerhof first to the "Langen Stein", a historically significant boundary stone and former court site. Then into the nature reserve "Sippersfelder Weiher". Past the "Horex meadows", which are left open to preserve floristically poor tall herbaceous stands of high faunal importance. The hiking route then continues to the "Pfrimm spring", where the 42 km long Pfrimm river originates. It was lined with basalt stones in 1927 and a small rest area was created there a few years ago. After only 300 m, the Pfrimm is dammed into the Pfrimm pond, a reservoir fed by another inlet. Several ponds follow, named Steiger, Krebs, and Mühlen ponds. Back at Pfrimmerhof, a forest café and country inn invite you to stop for refreshments. The circular route is continuously marked with a black 4 on a green circle.

Roadbook
Starting point is the parking lot at Pfrimmerhof. The circular hiking route No. 4 turns left, along the campsite towards the edge of the forest. From there it goes up the Pfrimmerberg to the "Langen Stein". Keep right here, then continue straight on the hiking trail marked with a "green-blue bar". After about 2 km, the path meets the so-called "Kleehöferweg", which is a wide forest road. Turn right there and follow it until it meets hiking trail No. 3. From here, hiking trails No. 3 and No. 4 run parallel. We follow this, passing the Horex meadows, the Pfrimm spring, the Steiger, Krebs, and Mühlen ponds. At the dam, the path turns left, then leads right back to Pfrimmerhof.
The circular route is continuously marked with a black 4 on a green circle.
