Vzhľadom na prekonané výškové metre sa jedná o náročnú túru. Mentálne by to deti mali zvládnuť, pretože strmšia časť stúpania je až ku koncu, keď sa otvárajú výhľady a cieľ je blízko. Pohostenie na chate a jej okolie s výhľadmi na Nízke Tatry ako aj na juh sľubujú epický zážitok.

Zaparkujeme na Trangoške. Trpezlivo vystúpime na Štefánikovu chatu, žiaden zhon, budeme sa držať spolu. Hore si vychutnáme prostredie chaty, vynikajúce jedlo, horský čaj a hlavne výhľady. Tu si deti poriadne oddýchnu. Zostup dolu by mal byť bez problémov.
