The extension of the trails in this network is very wide and subject to rapid and unpredictable degradation due to natural or human causes, so the available human and economic resources are insufficient to resolve all issues in real time; however, the network exists although sometimes it may present issues of passability and/or orientation. Moreover, the electronic GPS routes may contain errors due to the instruments used or the methods of survey or tracing, they should be considered an aid for locating the itinerary and for navigation and do not replace the topographic map and traditional orientation tools. For these reasons, the exercise of public information activities, monitoring, maintenance of tracks and signage by the volunteer coordination of CAI Macerata, does not exclude the existence of natural obstacles and difficulties nor the risks connected to visiting the natural environment and anyone undertaking a route/itinerary, even if marked, does so under their own responsibility to know and be able to control the means adopted, to wear appropriate clothing, to have taken the necessary physical preparation, to be aware of orientation techniques, reading the territory and maps, to be able to recognize and evaluate the risks of their own behavior and the precautions to reduce their effects.
