The beginning of the route leads through the village of Blatnica, from which you can follow the green trail and explore the 6-kilometer long Blatnická valley. This is followed by a steeper climb through the forest up to a grassy summit. Drienok, sometimes also called "Drieňok," offers beautiful views of the ridge of Veľká Fatra extending to the Kremnické vrchy mountains.
